The Community Connector Internship was created with the aim of providing our members (you!) with an opportunity for personal and professional development, both on-line and off-line. We want to encourage inter-cultural dialogue and multilingual participation on TIG, as well as give youth an opportunity to affect change in their community.

The Community Connector Internship is a six-month position, starting in mid-August 2008 and ending in mid-February 2009 for a weekly rate of 5-8 working hours. It is an unpaid Internship, but will afford the opportunity to gain valuable experience working within an international NGO, using Web 2.0 tools to engage youth, and making connections with local groups and organizations.

We are looking for motivated and outgoing members who are between the ages of 18 and 26, and living in:
- Europe
- Latin America
- Central America and the Caribbean
- as well as the following countries in Africa: Senegal, Mali, Benin, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.
